DR. BETSY BURGOS DIAZ

Dr. Betsy was born and raised in a small town in the center of the island of Puerto Rico, Barranquitas. Therefore, her native language is Spanish.
 
Dr. Betsy attended the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico, where she was president of two academic organizations, the Biology & Biotechnology Association, and the Poly-Inter Alumni Association of the Barranquitas chapter. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology with a minor in Microbiology and Chemistry.
 
Since she was a kid, she has always had a passion for the health and wellness profession. Her love for people and health and wellness led her to pursue a doctorate in chiropractic.
 
Dr. Betsy graduated in April 2022 from Northwestern Health Science University in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she received her Doctorate in Chiropractic. During her time as a student at Northwestern Health Science University, she was the Public Relations Representative of the Student American Chiropractic Association of the NWHSU chapter in 2021.
 
She has had the opportunity to work with a very diverse patient population ranging in age, ethnicity, social background, and health conditions. Dr. Betsy is passionate about infant, women, and perinatal care. She received her Perinatal plus Webster Certification from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, aka ICPA, and remained an active member of this organization. Dr. Betsy has training in pregnancy, prenatal care, postpartum care & rehab, and advanced spinal pediatric assessment. She is Certified as an M1 - Graston Provider (IASTM). She also has the Cranial Sacral Therapy Certificate focused on the Infant cranial-sacral protocol. In addition, she has more than 100 hours of training in nutrition and functional medicine.
 
In her free time, Dr. Betsy enjoys exercising, hiking, reading, cooking healthy recipes, traveling, and going on adventurous walks with her French bulldog, Luna.
