Dr. Kugel became part of Olympia, Washington community in 2012, after moving from her hometown near Green Bay, Wisconsin. Prior to becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic, she worked for four years as a nutrition counselor with the Women and Children (WIC) Program in Wisconsin. While there, Dr. Kugel developed a passion for helping individuals in the perinatal process, babies, and children.

This passion followed her to chiropractic school. After graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2012, Dr. Kugel completed an additional certification program as a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) to further her skills working with individuals throughout the pregnancy process, and for infants and children in her chiropractic office.

Dr. Kugel is certified in the Webster Technique, a gentle method used during pregnancy to help align the mother's pelvis for her own comfort and to potentially improve room for the baby to develop. In addition to standard manual techniques taught by Palmer College of Chiropractic, she has training in the Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and Kinesiology Taping. She enjoys using these gentle techniques for patient comfort and to support muscle and connective tissue causes of movement disorders.
